The Ingman College of Crafts and Design is located in the eastern Finland nearby Kuopio.

The College is a vocational school in the culture sector and leads to a vocational upper secondary qualification in Crafts and Design:

  •  Study Programme in Textiles and Clothing Design and Production, Artisan
    • The Dressmaker, Specializes in women’s clothing
    • The Producer of Interior Textiles

  • Study Programme in Handicraft Design and Production, Artisan
    • Gabinetmaker 
    • Wooden-Boat Builder, adult education 90 credits 

  • Study Programme in Environmental Design and Construction, Artisan
    • Furniture restoration, adult education 90 credits

  • Study Programme in Audiovisual Communication, Media Assistant 
    • Graphic Design and Multimedia

  • Study Programme in Visual Expression
    • New Visual and Media Arts
    • Photography 

Visual and Media Arts programme provides comprehensive basic skills and knowledge in visual and media arts and Photography achieves the qualification of a photographer. There are 90 credits of vocational studies, including at least 20 credits of on-the-job learning that supports the studies. We have created a nexus in the working life for the on-the-job learning periods in the aim of to get employed and the bilateral lifelong learning.

After completion of upper secondary education in the Study Programme in Visual Expression many of our students continues their studies in the University of Applied Sciences.
